About Dax Kastrin

Dax began his career in insurance out of a desire to work with business organizations and help them navigate the complexities of commercial insurance. Prior to forming Elemental Risk Management, Dax worked as a direct writer for a large commercial insurance carrier. After experiencing great professional success and growing his territory premium volume by 150%, Dax decided it was time to fulfill his life-long dream of becoming a business owner. In 2011, Dax delivered on that goal by founding Elemental RISK Management.

Working as an agile independent agent allows Dax to use his unique insight into business ownership to help his clients make the right decision when purchasing commercial insurance. Dax believes insurance is greatly misunderstood within the business community. Commercial insurance, in particular, is often presented as a business cost rather than a business asset. In truth, commercial insurance is an integral part of any successful business plan: without it, the world would be in disarray.
